Shadow Wave-Robert Muchamore

You should know by now that my favourite writer is Robert Muchamore!!! I have read all the books from both his series (Henderson Boys and Cherub.) This is the latest book in the Cherub series so far and to be honest it is a goodun. It is James' final mission but it is not one set by his agency he is asked for help from his friend Kyle to help protest against a foreign man, but the only thing is James' little sister is a secret child bodygaurd for the guy. While all this is going on the new trainers doing there final test to get into the agency have a totally different problem all together they have the 'ripples' from a tidal wave comming at them at 200mph. This is an exciting story and Robert Muchamore thought of the story well. He described both settings in immense detail and i actually thought i was either about to be drowned or trampled on by protesters. The language was very easy to understand as it was written for readers around my age and there are no complicated words. Characters are well developed on as they have changed throughout the series. Muchamore has also introduced the new characters very well and in detail. The story of the book is mainly about survival of a natural disaster and helping a friend without hurting his family. The author is trying to say throughout the story that some people have to go through really bad things in their life if it is natural disasters or nasty people. The story is structured very well as it spreads both the different stories out well. The story overall was as good as the rest of his series but it is not as good as the Henderson Boys books. I rate this book a hearty 7/10
